Product Name: Light Stabilizer 622
Other Names: CHIMASSORB 622, GW-622
Appearance: White to pale yellow powder solid.
Technical Specifications:

Application:
This product is a polymer of a hindered amine, characterized by a high average molecular weight, low volatility, and minimal migration. It is widely used in polyolefins, olefin copolymers, such as EVA and polypropylene blends with elastomers. Additionally, it is highly effective for polyurethanes, polyacetal, polyamides, particularly nylon 11 and nylon 12, and polyester elastomers. Its performance in pigment systems exceeds that of ultraviolet absorbers and nickel stabilizers. When mixed with other light stabilizers or UV absorbers, it produces a synergistic effect. Due to its low oligomer structure with an average molecular weight of about 3500, it is particularly suitable for applications requiring low volatility and migration. Moreover, it is an effective antioxidant, providing long-lasting thermal stability for polyolefins and adhesive resins, and is widely used in polyolefin food packaging materials.
Superior performance:
- Does not affect the color and clarity of the product
- The aforementioned plastic products exhibit high compatibility.
Easily dispersible
- Water absorption is very low in film and flat product manufacturing.
- Widely applicable to food packaging
Terms of Use:
Stabilizer 622 can be damaged by sulfur or halogen-containing substances during use. For example, some stabilizers and flame retardants. To evaluate and confirm the impact on the plastic properties that meet certain special technical requirements of polymers (such as weldability, printability), we recommend conducting a small-scale trial first.
Toxicity:
This product has low toxicity. Many countries permit the use of plastic materials in contact with food, such as the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Canada, the former Soviet Union, Australia, Austria, and other countries, which stipulate that the maximum usage of polypropylene in polyethylene is 0.3%. Italy and Switzerland set the maximum usage of polypropylene in polyethylene at 0.3% and in polypropylene at 0.5%.
Packing & Storage:
◆ Paper drum packaging, lined with plastic bags, net weight per package is 25 kg.
Prior to transportation and storage, ensure the product packaging is undamaged. During transportation and storage, categorize and stack in a dry, clean, and shaded warehouse to prevent moisture, heat, and spoilage.
