Product Name: Light Stabilizer 770
Other Names: UV Absorber 770, GW-770
Appearance: White crystalline powder, crystalline; soluble in benzene, acetone; insoluble in water.
Technical Specifications:

Application:
This product is an efficient and low-toxic hindered amine type light stabilizer with significant anti-aging (sunscreen) properties against light oxidation. When used in conjunction with antioxidants, it enhances heat resistance, particularly for polypropylene and high-density polyethylene, offering superior resistance to atmospheric aging compared to general UV absorbers and quenchers (nickel-chromium compounds). It is particularly suitable for thick products. Unlike traditional UV absorbers, its effectiveness is not dependent on the thickness of the product, making it also applicable to high surface area products such as films and filaments. Its advantage lies in its efficiency, and it has good compatibility and dispersibility with resins. Light stabilizer 770 is primarily used in polypropylene, impact-modified polypropylene (TPO), EPDM, ABS, SAN, ASA, and also in polyurethane, polyamide, and polyacetal, among others. Due to its light-protective properties, 770 finds extensive application in the field of high polymers.
Superior Performance:
770 can be added to polymers using standard methods. It boasts excellent thermal stability and, due to its non-absorption of visible light spectrum, it does not affect the color of the polymer. 770 can be used in conjunction with a series of UV absorbers, such as UV-P, UV-327, UV-531, etc., to create a synergistic effect, providing excellent light stability for plastics.
To achieve the high efficiency of 770, sufficient plastic basic stability is required to prevent thermal oxidative degradation from causing damage to the plastic. Sulfur stabilizers such as sulfosuccinate esters, and sulfur-containing phenolic antioxidants may affect the performance of 770. If the finished product requires high light stability, the influence of pigments is also significant; it is recommended to conduct a small-scale trial first.
Dosage: Generally 0.3-0.5 units (for reference only; actual dosage should be based on test amounts)
Packing and Storage Transportation:
◆ Paper drum packaging, lined with plastic bags, net weight 25 kg per drum.
Prior to transportation and storage, ensure the product packaging is undamaged. During transportation and storage, categorize and stack in a dry, clean, cool storage facility, strictly preventing moisture, heat, and spoilage of the product.
