Water-washed stone, with its diverse raw materials in various colors and shapes, can be used to decorate patterns of all shapes and designs. It is widely applied in interior decoration and outdoor landscape shaping. Some large-area exterior wall renovations also opt for water-washed stone, exuding a natural and simple feel.

Washed stone paving
Main methods for water-washed stone paving:
1. Clean the Substrate: Thoroughly clean the surface of the substrate of accumulated dust, grease, loose mortar, and debris. If there are uneven areas, level out the protrusions and fill in the depressions with 1:3 mortar. For oil stains, use a 10% lye solution to scrub clean, then rinse with water and dry.
2. Apply Base Mortar: First, apply a plain cement slurry (mixed with 10% of 107 adhesive water) to the base layer. Then, apply the base mortar in layers. Use a straight edge to level the base mortar and a wooden trowel to roughen it. After the mortar has set, water it for maintenance.
3. Gravel Mortar Surface Layer: Apply a coat of plain cement mortar, then apply two layers of gravel mortar from bottom to top. The surface should be 1mm higher than the completed ground on both sides. Flatten and compact the gravel mortar layer.
