The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for achieving remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types complies with GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, while in motion, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switch direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no-load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be sealed properly. If it cannot be sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be sealed and opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the travel control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the plunger in the travel control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driven small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "Off" travel has been initially adjusted.

At this point, you can turn it on electrically for a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear and stroke.
