The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed and improved upon our mature products, optimizing protection performance and key components. They are completely self-developed, featuring compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, all-in-one switch type, and all-in-one regulating type.
The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air doors, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, making it an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof types conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, it is essential to check if the potentiometer on the position indicator has been disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect it) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "Off" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver until the cam engages the spring plate, following the arrow direction, until the microswitch actuates. This indicates that the "Off" stroke is initially adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then close it. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements. If not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Open Direction: After the closed direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then, disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the open direction stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the open valve is controlled at around 90%.

Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and travel.
