I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products, developed and improved upon our mature products. They feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. The good protection grade meets various design requirements: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position regulating.
The DZW series is used for controlling the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the closing torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switching direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load and no medium pressure. When there is pressure and temperature, pay attention to whether it can be tightly closed. If it cannot be tightly closed, increase the torque value appropriately to ensure it can be tightly closed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Manually close the valve tightly.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving pinion from the single-digit gear assembly of the counter.
(3) Rotate the "Off" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it according to the arrow direction until the cam presses down on the spring pressure plate, stopping when the microswitch action is achieved. The "Off" position travel is then initially adjusted.

At this point, turn it on electrically for a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Direction Adjustment: After adjusting the valve in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to activate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, and the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, you can repeat the operation a few times. Generally, the valve opening is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the torque and stroke.
