I: Overview
The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation product that we have developed and refined based on our mature products. They feature compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable, reliable performance. With excellent protection ratings, they can meet the needs of various designs: explosion-proof, overall switching, and overall regulating types.
The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, shutoff valves, diaphragm valves, its derivative products can also be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands and is an indispensable driving device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the specifications of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of General Type Valves) and the performance of explosion-proof type conforms to GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Atmospheres: Explosion-Proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for the switching direction based on the valve's operating characteristics; typically, the torque for the opening direction is greater than that for the closing direction.
(4) Adjustments are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be paid to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel Control Mechanism Adjustment
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Disengage the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thereby separating the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position screwdriver towards the adjustment shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "OFF" travel has been initially adjusted.
(4)
Now, you can manually turn it a few rotations, then shut it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the above procedure.
(5) Direction Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed direction, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam presses against the spring plate, causing the micro-switch to actuate. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear to complete the opening stroke adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly several times. Generally, the valve is opened to about 90%.
3. Adjustment of the adjustable opening indicator:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after tuning the gear ratio and travel.
