The DZW series electric actuators for valves are a new generation of products that our company has developed through improvements and optimizations on our existing mature products. These actuators feature a compact structure, small size, attractive appearance, and stable and reliable performance. They offer excellent protection ratings to meet various design requirements: explosion-proof, all-position switch, and all-position adjustment.
The DZW series is designed for controlling the opening and closing of valves. It is suitable for gate valves, stop valves, throttle valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for globe valves, butterfly valves, and dampers, etc. It can accurately respond to control commands, making it an indispensable drive device for remote, centralized, and automatic control of valves.
This product's performance complies with JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators for Valves) specifications. Explosion-proof performance meets GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: Explosion-proof Type "d"), and JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-proof Electric Actuators) standards.

Three: Adjust
Adjust the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disengaged (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disengage) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque for switch direction based on the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be sealed tightly, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Traveler control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and turn it 90°, thus disconnecting the driven sprocket from the counter's single-digit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" adjustment shaft with a screwdriver in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to actuate. This indicates that the initial "OFF" travel has been properly adjusted.

At this point, you can electrically turn it a few rotations, then turn it off. Check if the closing travel meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Valve Opening Adjustment: After the valve is adjusted in the closed position, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring pressure plate and the micro-switch actuates. Once the stroke mechanism engages with the driving gear, the opening stroke is complete. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, you can repeat the operation a few times. Generally, control the valve opening to around 90%.
3. Adjustable Opening Indicator Adjustment:
Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear shift and travel.
