The DZW series electric actuators for valves are our company's improved and optimized version of our mature products, featuring enhanced protective performance and critical componentry, and are a completely self-developed new generation of products. The DZW series is used to control the opening and closing of valves. Suitable for gate valves, stop valves, check valves, diaphragm valves, and its derivative products can be used for ball valves, butterfly valves, and air gates, etc. It can accurately actuate according to control commands, and is an indispensable driving device for remote control, centralized control, and automatic control of valves.
This product meets the requirements of JB/T8528-1997 (Technical Conditions for Electric Actuators of Valves) and the explosion-proof specifications of GB3836.1-2000 (Part 1 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: General Requirements), GB3836.2-2000 (Part 2 of Electrical Equipment for Explosive Gas Environments: Explosion-Proof "d"), as well as JB/T8529-1997 (Technical Conditions for Explosion-Proof Electric Actuators).

Three: Adjust
Adjusting the torque, during travel, ensure the potentiometer on the position indicator is disconnected (loosen the set screw on the gear of the potentiometer shaft to disconnect) to prevent damage.
Torque control mechanism adjustment:
Firstly, adjust the torque.
(2) Begin with a low torque value and gradually increase it until the valve is fully closed.
(3) Adjust the torque of the switch direction according to the valve's operational characteristics; typically, the opening torque is greater than the closing torque.
(4) Adjustments above are made under conditions of no load, no medium pressure, etc. When there is pressure and temperature, attention should be given to whether it can be tightly sealed. If it cannot be tightly sealed, the torque value should be appropriately increased to ensure it can be tightly sealed and easily opened.
2. Travel control mechanism adjustment:
(1) Close the valve manually.
(2) Remove the stroke control mechanism by using a screwdriver to push the top rod in the stroke control mechanism and rotate it 90°, thus disconnecting the driving small gear from the counter's unit gear set.
(3) Rotate the "OFF" position using a screwdriver to the adjustment shaft, turning it in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate, causing the microswitch to activate. This indicates that the "OFF" travel is initially adjusted.

At this point, turn the electric switch a few times and then turn it off. Check if the closing stroke meets the requirements; if not, adjust it again following the aforementioned procedure.
(5) Adjustment of Open Direction: After the close direction is adjusted, manually open the valve to the desired position. Then disengage the stroke control mechanism, rotate the "open" adjustment shaft in the direction of the arrow until the cam engages the spring plate and the micro-switch activates. Reengage the stroke mechanism with the driving gear, completing the open direction adjustment. After adjusting the stroke control mechanism, it can be operated repeatedly. Generally, the opening of the valve is controlled around 90%.
3. Adjustable opening indicator adjustment:
(1) Adjust the adjustable opening indicator and remote potentiometer after adjusting the gear ratio and travel.
