I. Product Overview
This product consists of two parts: the base tape and the shaping adhesive, sometimes referred to as RPC cold-wrap tape or rubber-plastic cold-wrap tape by manufacturers. The base tape is a sheet material compounded from natural rubber, synthetic rubber, and other additives, then cut to widths of 125mm or 250mm and rolled up. The shaping adhesive is a solvent-free epoxy coal tar paint, composed of separately packaged A and B components. At the factory, the base tape and shaping adhesive are supplied together. During installation, mix equal parts of the A and B components of the shaping adhesive, stir well, and apply it to the surface of steel pipes or concrete layers. Then, immediately wrap or stick the base tape around, allowing it to cure naturally (or backfill immediately), ultimately forming a solid, rubber-type epoxy coal tar anti-corrosion layer.
Corrosion Resistance Grade: Base tape bonded with a molding adhesive, a single tape with a single adhesive can exceed the GB50268-97 standard's extra strengthened grade (≥0.6mm), and meet the Sinopec industry standard SH 3533-2003's extra strengthened grade thickness (≥0.8mm) for epoxy coal tar enamel coating.
The定型胶is categorized into two types based on construction environment temperature: standard temperature adhesive (for use above 5℃) and low temperature adhesive (for use below 5℃).
II. Product Features
1. The base belt is a rubber belt, which is sturdy and elastic, tightly bonded with the molding adhesive. One winding can achieve a thickness of 0.6mm to 0.8mm, and the anti-corrosion layer passes the 8KV high-voltage electrical leak detection.
2. The undercoat utilizes a solvent-free formula, producing no volatile solvents during application, meeting safety and environmental protection standards. The coating is dense with no pinholes.
3. The rubber belt surface is non-adhesive, allowing immediate backfilling after installation, effectively enhancing construction quality and speed.
4. On-site patching and repairs are available using the same material for convenience and speed.
III. Precautions
1. Must be used in conjunction with our company's supplied baseband and shaping adhesive (including A and B components).
2. The quantity of molding glue provided per box is solely the normal amount required for standard construction following the molding glue/base tape/molding glue structure.
3. Handle with care during transportation; place cartons upright, protect from rain, and avoid direct sunlight exposure.
4. Store the epoxy coal tar cold wrapping tape in its original packaging, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse away from any fire sources. Stack in layers of 4, with a storage period of six months.
