Radiation-crosslinked polyethylene repair patches are specifically designed for anti-corrosion and repair of buried or overhead steel pipeline welds, as well as for thermal insulation repair of保温管道.

Repair patches are composed of a radiation cross-linked polyolefin base material and a special sealing thermoplastic adhesive coating. The special sealing thermoplastic adhesive can form a good bond with polyethylene base material, steel pipe surfaces, and solid epoxy coatings.

This product melts the adhesive layer during installation, bonding to the damaged surface of the pipeline, and forms a continuous and tight anti-corrosion system with the original pipeline's anti-corrosion coating. It can withstand soil stress, static water pressure, cathodic disbonding, chemical corrosion, and mold侵蚀, among various corrosion behaviors. The patch is primarily used for repairing damage to the polyethylene external anti-corrosion layer of polyethylene pipes with two or three layers of anti-corrosion, caused during transportation, inspection, and construction, such as small area damage less than 100mm square, like pinpoint or linear scratches.
