Screw jack guards, also known as screw jack covers, are a type of protective cover that effectively shields screws, light bars, shafts, columns, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
Process Classification
The styles are divided into steel ring supported and stitched.
Available in various shapes such as cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, oval, stair, crescent, semicircular, and more.
The connections can be further categorized as: (1) Both Ends with Collar (Bolted), (2) Both Ends with Flange (Screwed), and (3) One End with Flange and One End with Collar. Flanges are available in PVC and metallic types.
Steel ring support
Available in various fabrics, supported by steel wire rings, and made with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, the outer diameter is fixed. It operates normally between 110℃ and -40℃ temperatures. It effectively resists dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. It features a neat appearance and is resistant to deformation. Due to its tightness and rigidity, it is suitable for ventilation and dust removal in many machines. The required diameter and length can be determined according to the specific requirements of the customer.
Sewn
A variety of materials are available based on different working environments. They are first formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two inner edges and two outer edges are stitched together, which achieves good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through sewing. Installation methods include integral, zipper, hook-and-loop, and snap styles, offering greater convenience for users.
Work Characteristics
The component can perform extension or compression movements, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. In the horizontal position, plastic or aluminum support rings are used to maintain a uniform distance between the protective casing and the screw, thereby extending the service life. When the stretch length is great, a metal ring is added to each fold to enhance the stability of the protective casing. Metal flanges or sleeve-type connections are used for the connecting or fixed ends.
