Screw shaft guards, also known as screw shaft covers, are a type of protective cover that effectively shields screw shafts, light shafts, shafts, columns, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
Process Classification
The types are divided into steel ring supported and stitched.
Available in various shapes such as cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, elliptical, spiral, crescent, and semicircular, among others.
By connection type, they can be divided into: (1) Both Ends with Collar (Bolted) (2) Both Ends with Flange (Screwed) (3) One End with Flange, One End with Collar. Flanges can be further categorized into PVC flanges and metal flanges.
Steel Ring Supported
Available in various fabrics, supported by steel wire rings, and made with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, featuring a fixed outer diameter. Operates normally between 110℃ and -40℃. Effectively dustproof, waterproof, oilproof, and resistant to emulsions and chemicals. Known for its neat appearance and resistance to deformation. Its tightness and rigidity make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in numerous machinery. Diameter and length can be customized according to specific customer requirements.
Sewn
A variety of materials are available based on the working environment. The product is first formed into a disc, then pressed and sewn together. The two inner edges and two outer edges are stitched to achieve better shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction. Installation methods include whole, zipper, hook-and-loop, and snap, offering greater convenience for users.
Work Characteristics
It can extend or compress with the parts, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. When in a horizontal position, use plastic or aluminum support rings to maintain a consistent distance between the internal cavity of the guard and the screw, thereby extending the service life. When the stretch length is great, add a metal ring at each fold to enhance the stability of the guard. The connecting or fixed end can use a metal flange disk, or opt for a sleeve-type design.
