Screw jack guards, also known as screw jack sleeves, are a type of protective cover that effectively shields screws, light bars, shafts, columns, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.

Process Classification

The styles are divided into steel ring supported and stitched.

Available in various shapes including cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, elliptical, stair-shaped, crescent, semicircular, and more.

The connections can be further categorized as: (1) Two-end Collar (Band Clamp) (2) Two-end Flange (Screwed) (3) One-end Flange, One-end Collar. Flanges can be divided into PVC flanges and metal flanges.

Steel Ring Supported

Available in various fabrics, supported by steel rings and constructed with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, the outer diameter is fixed. It operates normally between 110℃ (high temperature) and -40℃ (low temperature). It effectively resists dust, water, oil, emulsifiers, and chemicals, featuring a neat appearance and resistance to deformation. Its tightness and rigidity make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in numerous mechanical applications. The required diameter and length can be determined based on the specific customer requirements.

Sewing method

A variety of materials are available depending on the working environment. They are first formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two adjacent inner edges and two outer edges are stitched together, which achieves good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through sewing. Installation methods include whole, zipper, Velcro, and snap-button styles, offering greater convenience for users.

Work Characteristics

The component can perform extension or compression movements, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. When in a horizontal position, use a plastic or aluminum support ring to maintain a uniform distance between the protective cover and the screw, thereby extending the service life. For longer stretches, add a metal ring at each fold to enhance the stability of the protective cover. The connection or fixed end can be equipped with a metal flange disk, or an option for a sleeve-type fitting.
