Our company specializes in the production of copper sheets, strips, and rods. Copper, also known as cuprous metal, is a tough, soft, and malleable purple metal with a lustrous appearance. It is called "copper" due to its rose-red hue and purple oxide film on the surface. It is a copper with a certain oxygen content, hence also referred to as oxygen copper. It is industrial pure copper with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotrope transformation, a relative density of 8.9, which is five times that of magnesium. The weight of the same volume is about 15% heavier than ordinary steel. Copper has excellent welding properties and can be cold or hot worked into various semi-finished and finished products. The name "copper" comes from its purple-red color. It may not be pure copper; sometimes, a small amount of deoxidizing elements or other elements are added to improve material properties, thus it is also categorized as a copper alloy. Chinese copper processing materials can be divided into four categories based on composition: ordinary copper (T1, T2, T3, T4), oxygen-free copper (TU1, TU2, high-purity, and vacuum oxygen-free copper), deoxidized copper (TUP, TUMn), and special copper with a small amount of alloying elements (arsenic copper, tellurium copper, silver copper). Copper has excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, second only to silver, and is widely used in the production of conductive and heat-conducting equipment. It also has good corrosion resistance in atmospheric, seawater, certain non-oxidizing acids (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid), alkalis, salt solutions, and various organic acids (acetic acid, citric acid).
