This method is similar to the water-washed stone technique that was popular in the 70s and 80s.

Water-washed stone, with its diverse raw materials in various colors and shapes, can be decorated into a wide range of patterns and designs. It is widely used in interior decoration and outdoor landscape shaping. Some large-area exterior wall renovations also utilize water-washed stone, exuding a natural and simple feel.

The water-washed stone manufacturing process involves mixing cement, stone chips, small pebbles, or pigments with water, spreading it on the building's surface. After semi-hardening, the surface cement paste is brushed off with a stiff brush dipped in water, partially exposing the stone chips or small pebbles.
