b. Retarding Agent: By applying an approved surface retarding agent solution to the concrete finish, it affects the setting of the surface mortar, removing the mortar surface. Subsequently, the retarding agent solution is removed by water washing and/or wiping, revealing the aggregates to achieve the desired surface texture.
