It is laid on concrete, permeable concrete, asphalt, or graded sand and gravel sublayers, featuring permeability, natural beauty, diverse colors, and durability. Basic Requirements

Sidewalks, pedestrian streets, squares (landscaped squares), garden paths, and other road bases are designed with fully permeable structural layers. Composed of natural soil, graded crushed stone, and leveling layers. Technical requirements for the structural layer:

The structural layer should be compacted with natural soil first (compaction rate should be greater than 93%).

(2) The thickness of the graded crushed stone layer should not be less than 100mm (compaction should be greater than 94%).

(3) Leveling layer (coarse sand or less than 6mm fine gravel) must be no less than 30mm.

2. Design a waterproofing structural layer for roadways with certain load-bearing capacity, such as sidewalks, squares, and parking lots. Composed of a natural soil layer, lime-fly ash aggregate layer, and concrete structural layer. Technical requirements for the structural layer:

The structural layer should be compacted with natural soil first (the compaction rate should be greater than 93%).

(2) The thickness of the fly ash and slag layer should not be less than 150mm (compaction should be greater than 94%).

(3) The compressive strength grade of the concrete structural layer should not be lower than C20; the surface should be rough, clean, and moist, with a thickness of not less than 100mm.

3. When the foundation is a concrete structure layer, an interface treatment should be done before laying the pervious concrete surface.

4. Drainage should be considered in the design of the substructure, using permeable drainage pipes. The drainage pipes should be connected to the municipal drainage system in the road design.

Another similar colored gravel concrete flooring is formed by applying a decorative aggregate overlay to plastic concrete. Simulate polymer gravel concrete by hand-spraying aggregates, ensuring the particle sizes are uniform and they should be cleaned before installation. Distribute the aggregates evenly on the surface and press them into the concrete using a trowel or a straightedge. Begin to apply immediately after treating the concrete with a straightedge, compacting until the aggregates are fully embedded in the concrete surface. Float the exposed aggregates using water washing or setting retardant methods.
