Armored protective covers are a type of machine tool guard, designed to prevent high-temperature chips and other sharp objects from entering the machine guide rails, providing effective protection. They feature an outer stainless steel layer and an inner accordion-style protective cover. These are categorized by the material of the base cover, including fire-retardant fabric, nylon fabric, flame-resistant fabric, high-temperature-resistant fabric, plastic fabric, and rubber composite fabric. Each fold of the cover serves as an armor for the protective guard.
Application Range: As mechanical equipment continues to improve, the requirements for protective systems also increase accordingly. Especially with the use of servo motors, the speed of processing machinery has been increasing significantly, sometimes reaching up to 200m/min. This necessitates a protective cover that is resistant to tearing but also lightweight, such as the tensile-reinforced accordion-type guard.
The application of our armor-style accordion guards is increasingly widespread in fields such as measurement, automatic control, and food technology. These industries demand dust-proof guards that are also non-toxic to food. The armor-style flexible accordion guards are also increasingly used on lift platforms on automotive production assembly lines. Our guards are designed to meet their height requirements and ensure smooth operation.
Each pleat of the armor protective cover can withstand intense vibrations without deformation, and it is applied to bellows, maintaining its original state even at a high temperature of 900°C. They support each other, acting as a barrier against the penetration of small fragments. Features include: 1. Stretchable strips on the protective grid. 2. Small space requirement. 3. Reliable protective layer against a large amount of dust, sand, and iron shavings, with high-temperature resistance. 4. Stretchable strips are made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel plate. 5. No adhesive bonds.
