Screw shaft guard is a type of protective cover, also known as a screw shaft sleeve, which effectively protects screw shafts, light shafts, shafts, pillars, and other components from dust and other external contaminants and damage.
The products are categorized by manufacturing process into steel ring-supported and stitched styles. Shape-wise, they include cylindrical, tower, square, rectangular, oval, stair, crescent, semi-circular, and various other shapes. Connection types include: (1) Both Ends with Collars (Belt Clamp), (2) Both Ends with Flanges (Screw Type), and (3) One End with Flange, One End with Collar. Flanges are further divided into PVC flanges and metal flanges.
Steel ring support
Utilizing various fabrics, supported by steel rings and constructed with high-frequency heat-sealed sleeves, the outer diameter is fixed. It operates normally between 110℃ high temperature and -40℃ low temperature. It effectively resists dust, water, oil, emulsions, and chemicals. It features a neat appearance and is resistant to deformation. Its tightness and rigidity make it suitable for ventilation and dust removal in many machinery. The required diameter and length can be determined based on the specific user requirements.
Sewn
A variety of materials are available depending on the working environment. They are initially formed into discs through stamping and sewing. The two inner sides and two outer sides are stitched together, achieving good shape stability and firmness in the horizontal direction through the stitching process. Installation methods include integral, zipper, Velcro, and snap types, providing greater convenience for users.
The unit can extend or compress with the parts, suitable for both vertical and horizontal use. In the horizontal position, use a plastic or aluminum support ring to maintain a consistent distance between the shield's interior and the screw, extending its service life. For greater extension lengths, add metal rings at each bend to enhance the shield's stability. Connect or secure the ends with a metal flange disk, or opt for a clamping-style design.
