Axial seal heaters are devices that recover the steam from the seal and utilize its heat to warm condensate, reducing energy loss and improving the thermal efficiency of the unit. When a steam turbine uses an internal leakage axial seal system, a seal heater (or cooler) is typically installed to heat condensate or demineralized water, recover the seal leakage steam, thereby reducing seal leakage and heat loss, and enhancing the environmental conditions in the workshop.
Axial Seal Heater, also known as Axial Seal Cooler or Turbine Seal Heater. Modern steam turbines often use self-sealed axial seal systems, which typically require only one Axial Seal Cooler. Different manufacturers may have various names for it, but they all refer to the same equipment.
Widely applied in industries requiring heat, such as high-temperature setting, board heating, rubber processing, drying, dyeing, chemical production, plywood manufacturing, waterproof membrane production, asphalt heating non-woven hot rolling machines, glass fiber reinforced plastic hot presses, reaction vessels, molds, drying rooms, and ovens, etc.
