The fine dry powder starting component is an independent automatic starting device for fire extinguishing. It monitors the temperature of the location to protect it (such as offices, rooms, commercial areas, warehouses, garages, etc.) from fire. It emits an audible and visual alarm signal and activates the fire extinguishing equipment when the temperature exceeds the set value.
2. The fine dry powder starting component equipment is suitable for indoor operation.
3. The composition of the fine dry powder starting component equipment includes: electrical parts: equipped with a "monitoring" inductive switch, LED indicator lights, 1 temperature-sensitive switch, feedback relay, battery case, a dip switch (for setting delay time), terminals for connecting electric igniters and cascading, and a pre-mounted piezoelectric ceramic sound emitter.
4. In "standby" mode, the fine dry powder start-up component equipment monitors the temperature of the installation site. In this mode, power connection is not required (the temperature sensor switch is normally open, closed during operation. The "monitor" induction switch is normally open, attracting when the magnetic rod is close).
5. In "standby" mode, the fine dry powder start component equipment uses a magnet rod to approach the detection point (opposite side of the light-emitting diode), activating the "monitoring" induction switch. It then performs the integrity monitoring of the starting electric igniter circuit and power status monitoring.
6. The fine powder start component equipment emits an audio-visual signal indicating "Normal" (one sound and light signal) when the starting electric igniter circuit is normal and the power supply voltage is normal.
7. In case of damage to the starting circuit of the fine dry powder actuator device, the equipment emits an audio-visual signal indicating "malfunction" (a series of intermittent short beeps, followed by beeps, and a light signal).
8. In the protected area, if the temperature reaches 63°C, the temperature-sensitive switch contacts will close, connecting the power and electrical circuit. The device will emit an alarm signal (both sound and light) until the delay time ends and the "start" command is issued, providing the electrical igniter with the starting current. After the electrical igniter successfully ignites, a set of passive contacts (normally open, closed after start) will be output on the feedback terminal.
9. All devices in the fine dry powder initiating component are cascaded together. If any one of them emits a "fire alarm" signal, the rest will simultaneously emit a "fire alarm" signal. To avoid multiple electric igniters from activating at the same time and producing a larger spark, set the action delay time for each igniter to different values to achieve timed starting. At the factory, the dip switch is set to 1000 (2-second delay).
10. The fine dry powder startup component secures the device to the ceiling or another protected structure. Refer to the design drawings for the device's dimensions and connection line method.
11. It is recommended to use copper-core wire for connecting the equipment to the electrical igniter's starting circuit in the fine dry powder start-up component equipment, with the cross-sectional area of the conductor reaching 1.5mm.
12. When installing the fine dry powder starting component with the electronic fire extinguishing starter onto the base, align the LED indicator on the front panel with terminal 5 on the base and tighten counterclockwise.
13. The fine dry powder starting component assembly can be transported by various methods, including land, sea, and air transport. During transportation, it should be protected from strong vibrations, collisions, excessive pressure, and rain. It should also be prevented from being mixed with corrosive materials.
14. Fine dry powder starting component assemblies should be stored in a warehouse with good air circulation, free from corrosive gases, dripping water, and liquid intrusion, with relative humidity not exceeding 95%, and temperatures ranging from (-10 to 55℃).
15. Battery maintenance and repair for the fine dry powder starting component should be noted: 1) Remove the protective cover of the device. 2) Open the battery holder clips and remove the battery. 3) Insert a new battery and tighten the clips. 4) Reinstall the protective cover of the device.
16. Before installing this fine dry powder start-up component, please carefully read the product's manual and strictly follow the installation instructions provided.
17. Installation and maintenance of the fine dry powder starting component must be performed after it is removed from the base.
18. If the fine dry powder start component has a cascading function, do not short-circuit terminals 1 and 3 of this device to prevent false operation!
19. When the fine dry powder starting component is first connected to the starting device, please ensure to "set the code delay to 30 seconds!" This is to prevent any faults in the detector or wiring from directly causing false operation.
20. Fine Dry Powder Temperature Control Start Module ( Starter ): Connect the fire extinguishing device to terminals 2 and 5 (use a multimeter to check for no voltage before wiring, as live power may cause incorrect startup).
21. Fine powder temperature control start module (starter): Connect the 10, 11 terminals of the intelligent interlock control module to the 1, 3 terminals of the temperature control module.
22. Fine Powder Temperature Control Starter Module (Starter): When wiring multiple temperature control starter modules, ensure that the 1st terminal is connected to the 1st terminal and the 3rd terminal to the 3rd terminal. Do not connect the 1st terminal to the 3rd terminal, as it may cause incorrect startup. Please pay close attention!!
23. Fine Powder Temperature Control Start Module (Starter): The temperature control module's terminals 4 and 6 will output a passive feedback signal upon start-up.
24. Fine Dry Powder Temperature Control Start Module (Starter): Set the temperature control start module's delay time (0~30 seconds) according to the dip switch table.
25. Fine Powder Temperature-Controlled Start Module (Starter): Note that when installing, after removing the base, do not stack multiple modules together, as it may cause terminal contact and discharge, leading to a decrease in starting voltage. It is recommended to install one module at a time after disassembly.
26. Fine Dry Powder Intelligent Interconnected Control Module: Terminal 1 is the positive pole, Terminal 2 is the negative pole, connected to 24V positive and negative (polarized, do not reverse).
27. Fine powder intelligent interlock control module: The 12, 13 terminals connect the start/stop button with two wires (non-polar), and the 12, 13 terminals connect to the main control room for remote interlock (requires the main control room to provide a passive switch signal).
28. Intelligent联动Control Module for Fine Dry Powder: Delay Setting Method (0~30 seconds): After connecting the 24V power supply, hold the "Set" button on the panel for 5 seconds and release to enter the setting mode. The current setting time will be displayed, then press the "Adjust" button to increase the time by one second each time, cycling between 0~30. After setting the time, hold the "Set" button for 5 seconds until the display turns off, indicating the adjustment is complete.
29. Fine powder start/stop button: 4 wires, red and black connected to 24V; green and blue connected to the intelligent interlock control module's 12th COM and 13th C terminal (non-polarized).
30. Operation method for the fine dry powder start/stop button: Press the start button when a fire situation is detected. If it's a mistaken operation, you can press the stop button within 0-30 seconds to terminate the start. To reset the start/stop button, first press the start button (the start button will automatically reset), then press the stop button again (the stop button will automatically reset). At this point, it has been fully reset.
31. Operation method for the fine dry powder start/stop button: Note that there is a sequence to reset; incorrect order will cause accidental startup!!
32. Fine dry powder starting component debugging precautions: Do not connect the fire extinguishing device before debugging. Ensure all alarm systems are interlocked, manual, and debugged. Only after the fire inspection is completed and the principal agrees, may the fire extinguishing device be activated.
