1. The fine dry powder starting component is an independent automatic starting device for fire extinguishing. It monitors the site's temperature to protect it (such as offices, rooms, commercial areas, warehouses, garages, etc.) from fires. In the event of temperatures exceeding the set value, it emits an audible and visual alarm signal and starts the fire extinguishing equipment.
2. Fine dry powder starting component equipment is suitable for indoor operation.
3. The composition of the fine dry powder start-up component equipment includes: electrical parts: equipped with a "monitoring" inductive switch, LED indicator lights, 1 temperature-sensitive switch, feedback relay, battery case, dip switch (for setting delay time), terminals for connecting the electrical igniter and cascade, and a fixed piezoelectric ceramic sound emitter.
4. In "standby" mode, the fine dry powder start-up component equipment monitors the temperature of the installation site. No power connection is required in this mode (the temperature-sensitive switch is normally open, conducting during operation. The "monitor" induction switch is normally open, attracting when the magnetic rod is close).
5. The fine dry powder starting component equipment, in "On Duty" mode, uses a magnetic rod to approach the detection point (opposite the location of the light-emitting diode), to close the "Monitoring" induction switch, and execute the integrity monitoring of the starting circuit and power status monitoring.
6. The fine dry powder starting component equipment emits an audio-visual signal indicating "Normal" (one sound and one light signal) when the starting electric igniter circuit is normal and the power supply voltage is normal.
7. In case of damage to the ignition circuit of the fine dry powder starting component equipment, the device emits an audible and visual signal "Fault" (intermittent short beeps,嘟嘟嘟声, and light signal).
8. In the protected area, if the temperature reaches 63°C, the temperature-sensitive switch contacts will close, connecting the power and electrical circuit. The device will emit an alarm signal (both sound and light) until the delay time ends and the "start" command is issued, providing the electrical igniter with the starting current. After the electrical igniter successfully ignites, a set of passive contacts (normally open, closed after startup) will be output at the feedback terminal.
9. All the cascaded fine dry powder initiating components; if any one emits a "fire alarm" signal, the rest will simultaneously emit a "fire alarm" signal. To avoid multiple electrical igniters from triggering at the same time and producing a large spark, set the action delay time of each igniter to different values to achieve timed starting. At the factory, the dip switch is set to 1000 (2-second delay).
10. The fine dry powder starting component secures the device to the ceiling or other structural components of the protected facility, with the device's dimensions and connection methods as per the design drawings.
11. It is recommended to use copper-core wires for connecting the equipment to the electrical igniter's starting circuit in fine dry powder starting component equipment. The cross-sectional area of the conducting core of the wire can reach 1.5mm.
12. When installing the fine dry powder starting component with the electronic fire extinguishing starter on the base, please align the LED on the front panel with the 5th terminal on the base and rotate counterclockwise to secure it.
13. The fine dry powder starting component assembly can be transported by various methods, including land, sea, and air transport. Prevent strong vibrations, collisions, excessive pressure, and rain during transportation, and avoid mixing with corrosive materials.
14. Fine dry powder starting component devices should be stored in a warehouse with good air circulation, free from corrosive gases, no dripping water or liquid intrusion, with relative humidity not exceeding 95%, and temperatures ranging from (-10 to 55℃).
15. Maintenance and repair of the battery in the fine dry powder starting component should be noted: 1) Remove the protective cover of the device. 2) Open the battery case clip and remove the battery. 3) Insert a new battery and tighten the clip. 4) Reinstall the protective cover of the device.
16. Before installing the fine dry powder starting component, please carefully read the product manual and strictly follow the installation instructions provided.
17. Installation and maintenance of the fine dry powder start-up component must be performed after it is removed from the base.
18. If the fine dry powder starter component has a cascading function, do not short-circuit terminals 1 and 3 of this device to prevent unintended operation!
19. When initially connecting the fine dry powder starting component to the starting device, please ensure to "set the code delay to 30 seconds!" This is to prevent any malfunctions in the detector or wiring from directly causing false operation.
20. Fine Dry Powder Temperature Control Start Module ( Starter ): Connect the fire extinguishing device to terminals 2 and 5 (use a multimeter to check for no voltage before wiring, as live power may cause false activation).
21. Fine Dry Powder Temperature Control Start Module (Starter): The 10th and 11th terminals of the intelligent interlock control module are connected to the 1st and 3rd terminals of the temperature control module.
22. Fine Powder Temperature Control Starter Module (Starter): When wiring multiple temperature control starter modules, ensure that the 1st terminal is connected to the 1st terminal and the 3rd terminal to the 3rd terminal. Do not connect the 1st terminal to the 3rd terminal as it may cause incorrect activation. Please pay close attention!!
23. Fine powder temperature control start module (starter): The temperature control module's terminals 4 and 6 output a feedback passive signal during startup.
24. Fine Powder Temperature Control Start Module ( Starter ): Set the temperature control start module's delay time (0~30 seconds) according to the dip switch table.
25. Fine Powder Temperature Control Starter Module (Starter): Note that when installing, after removing the base, do not stack multiple modules together, as this may cause terminal contact and discharge, leading to a reduction in starting voltage. It is recommended to disassemble and install one module at a time after completion.
26. Fine Dry Powder Intelligent Interlock Control Module: Terminal 1 is the positive terminal, Terminal 2 is the negative terminal, connected to 24V positive and negative (polarized, do not reverse connect).
27. Fine Powder Intelligent Interconnected Control Module: Connect the start/stop button to pins 12 and 13 with two wires (non-polar), and connect pins 12 and 13 to the main control room for remote interconnection (requires the main control room to provide a passive switch signal).
28. Intelligent Linkage Control Module for Fine Dry Powder: Delay Setting Method (0~30 seconds): After connecting the 24V power supply, hold the "Setting" button on the panel for 5 seconds and release to enter the setting mode. The current setting time will be displayed, then press the "Adjust" button once to increase by one second, cycling between 0~30. After setting the time, hold the "Setting" button for 5 seconds until the display turns off, indicating the adjustment is complete.
29. Fine powder start/stop button: 4 wires, red and black connected to 24V; green and blue connected to the intelligent interlock control module's 12th COM and 13th C terminal (non-polar).
30. Operation of the fine dry powder start/stop button: Press the start button when a fire is detected. If it's a mistake, press the stop button within 0-30 seconds to terminate the start. To reset the start/stop button, first press the start button (the start button will automatically reset), then press the stop button again (the stop button will automatically reset). At this point, it is fully reset.
31. Operation method for the fine dry powder start/stop button: Pay attention to the reset sequence; incorrect order will cause unintended activation!!
32. Fine dry powder starting component debugging precautions: Do not connect the fire extinguishing device before debugging. Ensure all alarm systems are interconnected, manual, and debugging is complete. Only after fire inspection is passed and the lessee agrees, can the fire extinguishing device be activated.
