U.S. Dow's POE 8150 is an octene-based POE product - primarily used to toughen PP, PE: The POE elastomers can significantly enhance the toughness, impact resistance, and tensile strength of plastics such as PP and PE. By adding the appropriate amount of POE elastomers, these plastics become softer, more elastic, and can effectively absorb impact energy, improving their shock resistance.
