Characteristics of antistatic PC sheets:

Static dissipative PC boards feature strong impact resistance and can withstand high temperatures up to 140℃ (such as baby bottles made from PC material can withstand boiling water at 100℃), excellent flame retardancy with fire-resistant capabilities (flame retardancy rating of UL-94 V0~V2); and high light transmittance. The manufacturing process of static dissipative PC boards is extrusion, with thickness tolerances typically 3-5 microns. They offer high mechanical strength and excellent processing properties.

Anti-Static PC Sheet

The base material is polycarbonate (PC), an amorphous thermoplastic material that is colorless and transparent. The anti-static PC boards commonly available on the market are typically surface anti-static, which means they are treated with a coating technique to form a hard anti-static layer on the surface of a standard PC board. This preserves the inherent physical properties of the base material while also providing excellent anti-static functionality. The optimal anti-static state is achieved when the surface resistance is between 10^6 and 10^8 ohms, effectively preventing dust accumulation and avoiding potential hazards caused by static electricity, thereby meeting the special needs of the high-tech era.
