Porous pavement has entered people's lives, initially still influenced by traditional paving materials, inheriting their original shortcomings, such as permeability, wear resistance, and bearing capacity. However, the role of porous pavement under new technology exceeds our imagination, overcoming the shortcomings of traditional pavements and offering many benefits, such as beauty, ease of maintenance, and reduced dust. It has also gained popularity among the general public.

Porous concrete flooring paving

a. Subgrade Treatment: Sweep the subgrade surface clean, ensuring it is free of dust, twigs, paper屑, and other debris, and moisten the surface before laying.

b. Fabric: When laying permeable pavement, consider the compacted预留 height. When using manual fabric for permeable pavement, use a shovel to flip over, and never throw. If the paving time exceeds 30 minutes or during strong wind conditions, promptly cover the concrete on-site with plastic sheets to prevent rapid loss of moisture in the permeable pavement.

c. Tamping: After the plain color permeable floor fabric is completed, it is leveled with a trowel and tamped with a flat plate tamper. Once tamping is finished, lay the colored permeable floor or colored aggregate permeable concrete on the surface, then level it. Promptly replenish any shortages, and use specialized permeable floor equipment for surface tamping and leveling until it is flush with the formwork.

d. Surface Finishing: Promptly finish the edges of the permeable concrete on compacted road surfaces. For areas lacking materials, fill and finish. For drier sections, spray a uniform layer of water first, then add material for finishing.

e. After the permeable concrete is exposed aggregate, once the surface is smooth and compactness meets the requirements, spray and brush a uniform layer of cleaning agent on the surface, then cover with plastic film; 6-8 hours after spraying (depending on the weather), use a high-pressure water jet to rinse the surface. When rinsing, ensure the cleaning agent is thoroughly cleaned without any dropping off.

f. Maintenance: After the surface finishing of the permeable paving, it should be promptly lightly watered and covered with plastic film for maintenance. The maintenance period is the same as that of ordinary concrete. During the maintenance, barriers should be set around the road surface, and it is strictly prohibited to enter on foot or by vehicle.

Porous concrete paving, as a new form of urban paving, allows rainwater to infiltrate through the paving structure into the ground, thereby controlling surface runoff and promoting rainwater utilization by utilizing large-pored structural layers or drainage permeation facilities.
