The sliding screw and nut mechanism is simple in structure, easy to process, cost-effective, and features self-locking capabilities, although it has a high friction torque and low transmission efficiency. The ball screw and nut mechanism, despite its complex structure and higher manufacturing cost and inability to self-lock, boasts low friction torque, high transmission efficiency, high precision, good system rigidity, reversible motion, and a long service life.
