Primarily for the pumping of water glass. For the standard CO2 water glass process, the water glass addition is approximately 6-8% (by weight of sand); for the vacuum CO2 water glass process, the addition is around 3-4% (by weight of sand). Consequently, based on the characteristics of the standard CO2 and CO2 water glass processes, L-series carbon steel pumps are selected for the transportation of CO2 water glass.
Advantages
The rotor component features helical anti-fouling grooves on its surface to prevent the pump from being jammed by crystalline deposits.
Highly resistant to corrosion, abrasion, and high adhesion.
Gears are made of a combination of soft and hard materials, offering excellent avoidance of fine sand particles.
The gear pump's design speed adequately accommodates the viscosity characteristics of water glass.
