
Plate-type condensers are a new type of high-efficiency condensers composed of a series of metal plates with a certain wavy shape. These plates form thin rectangular channels between them, facilitating heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. They offer high heat exchange efficiency, minimal heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, broad application, and long service life. Under the same pressure drop, their footprint is one-third that of tube-type heat exchangers, and the heat recovery rate can reach over 90%.
The plate-type condenser consists of a set of corrugated metal plates with holes, through which two heat-conducting liquids pass. The metal plates are mounted in a frame with a fixed plate and a movable clamping plate on one side, and are secured with clamping bolts. Gaskets are fitted on the plates to seal the fluid channels and guide the fluids alternately into their respective channels.
