Plate-type condensers are a new type of high-efficiency condenser made up of a series of metal plates with a certain wavy shape stacked together. The thin rectangular channels between the plates facilitate heat exchange. Plate heat exchangers are ideal for liquid-liquid and liquid-vapor heat exchange. They feature high heat exchange efficiency, minimal heat loss, compact and lightweight structure, small footprint, easy installation and cleaning, wide application, and long service life. Under the same pressure drop, they occupy one-third of the area of tubular heat exchangers and can achieve a heat recovery rate of over 90%.
Plate-type condensers are composed of a set of corrugated metal plates, with holes on the plates for the two liquids to pass through for heat transfer. The metal plates are mounted within a frame, featuring a fixed plate and an adjustable clamping plate on one side, and are secured with clamping bolts. Gaskets are fitted to the plates to seal the fluid passages while guiding the fluids to alternate channels.
