Firstly, the entire length of the weld seam in the welded steel plate silo should be visually inspected by a dedicated welding inspector from the Quality Control Department. The visual inspection is conducted using a welded steel plate silo weld seam gauge and a 5x magnifying glass. The dimensions and appearance quality of the weld seam in the welded steel plate silo should comply with the factory standard Q/FCJ003-86. After the visual inspection of the weld seam in the welded steel plate silo is approved, the branch factory will submit a quality inspection request form based on the drawings and process cards, specifying the internal quality inspection requirements for the weld seam in the welded steel plate silo. The Quality Control Department will then conduct an internal quality check in accordance with the following requirements, as detailed in the branch factory's internal quality inspection request form for the weld seam in the welded steel plate silo.

For the same part number, the welding seam number of the assembled steel plate silo is Wm-n (m - part number; n - the nth welding seam of the assembled steel plate silo). For the welding seams of two connected steel plate silos, the welding seam number is W(1 m)-n (1, m - part number; n - the nth welding seam).
n-For the weld seam of the welding steel plate silo on component 2, the first welding plate seam should be numbered as W2-1, and the second welding plate seam of components 1 and 2 should be numbered as:
The internal quality inspection of the welding seam in the welded steel plate silo should be conducted 24 hours after the welding of the silo's welding seam is completed.
The internal quality of the welding seam in the welded steel plate silo is inspected and accepted according to the design drawings and process cards. When the drawings and process cards are unclear, inspections and acceptances are generally conducted according to the following requirements:
Grade BⅠ welds of type I steel plate silos are in accordance with GB11345-89, with a checking range of 60% of the weld length of the steel plate silo. Grade BⅡ welds of type II steel plate silos are in accordance with GB11345-89, with a checking range of 40% of the weld length of the steel plate silo.
If the current weld inspection of the steel plate storage tank is不合格, supplementary inspections should be conducted along the extension direction or at suspicious locations where unallowed defects are found. If the supplementary inspection is also不合格, a full inspection of the welds in the steel plate storage tank should be conducted.
Workpieces requiring heat treatment after welding, the internal quality of the welding seams in steel plate silos is to be assessed based on their condition after heat treatment. Unless the process card explicitly states that no sampling inspection of the internal quality of the welding seams in steel plate silos is required after heat treatment,
Generally, after heat treatment, weld seams of first and second-class steel plate silos should be inspected within a 20% length range of the weld seam for internal quality sampling. If the sampling does not meet the requirements,
Supplementary inspections should be conducted in the direction or at the suspected area of any location with allowable defects. If the supplementary inspection is found to be不合格, the entire weld seam of the welding steel plate storage tank should be inspected.
