SSV Series Single-Line Sequential Distributors (30MPa)

I. Terms of Use

The SSV series single-line progressive distributors are suitable for single machines or small dry and oil centralized lubrication systems with a nominal pressure of less than 30MPa. They reliably and forcibly distribute the lubricant input at the inlet in a predetermined amount, thanks to the piston inside the housing. This type of distributor has oil outlets on both sides, with identical installation dimensions for different outlet numbers. By connecting to manual, pneumatic, or electric lubrication pumps, the outlets can increase the oil supply, forming a simple and cost-effective centralized lubrication system. They can also be connected to single or double-line distributors in large centralized lubrication systems as auxiliary distributors for secondary distribution.


II. Technical Specifications

Lubricant should be used with a penetration greater than 265 (25°C, 150g) 1/10mm, NLGI 0#-2#. If using oil, the viscosity grade should be greater than N68.

1. Oil outlet: φ6 (Oil nozzle assembly installed at factory)

2. At 25°C, the maximum pressure loss of the lubricant through the distributor is 1-2 MPa.

Section 5: Model Description
 

The lubricant enters the distributor in the direction of the arrow and is pressed to the right end of piston A. Piston A moves to the left due to the lubricant pressure. The lubricant located at the left front of piston A is transported through the internal channels of the housing to exhaust outlet 2 and then reaches the friction position through the lubrication position pipe.

Once Piston A reaches its left terminal position, the connection passage leading to Piston B's right terminal opens. The lubricant flows to the right end of Piston B, causing it to move to the left. The lubricant located at the front left of Piston B is transported through the internal passage of the housing to exhaust outlet 7.

Once piston B reaches its left terminal position, it clears the connection passage to the right terminal of piston C, allowing the lubricant to flow under pressure and move piston C to the left. Meanwhile, the lubricant at the front left of piston C is transported to exhaust port 5.

The connection passage to piston D is now open, with lubricant being pressurized to the right end of piston D. The lubricant located at the left front of piston D will be discharged from exhaust port 3.

Once the piston D opens the connection channel to the left terminal of piston A, the lubricant flows and pushes piston A to the right. The lubricant located in the front right of piston A is then transported to exhaust outlet 1.
At this point, pistons B to D move from left to right. The cycle is completed by performing actions in the opposite order as stated above, and a new cycle can then begin.



Section 6: Instructions for Use

1. Recommend the lubricant distribution to be conducted through a "two-tier" system within the system.

2. Ports 1 and 2 cannot be closed at all.

Always use the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) exhaust oil outlet nozzle set.

4. When removing or replacing nozzle parts, start from the top or bottom opening on each side.

5. If the exhaust outlet needs to be supplemented and sealed, merge the lubricant dosage (redirect to the lower-numbered exhaust outlet), remove the nozzle body, and seal with an M10×1 plug as shown in the example below.

Section 7: Faults and Troubleshooting Methods

A blockage occurs in the equipment or any connected bearing. First, check if the lubrication pump is working and if the lubricant is supplied to the main distributor. If lubricant overflows when the inlet connector of the distributor is opened, it indicates a fault in the distributor. Connect and tighten the inlet connector, then open the inlet connectors of the respective bearings in sequence. If lubricant overflows, that bearing is blocked.

When an internal blockage occurs in the distributor, it should be replaced. In emergency situations, the distributor can be cleaned based on the following conditions.

1. A clean workspace is a must.

Remove all inlets and outlets' connector joints.

Remove the plug at both ends of the piston bore.

4. Push the piston out using a soft mandrel (diameter less than 6mm, preferably a plastic rod).

5. Blast and clean the distribution housing with compressed air.

6. Inspect the flow channels in the distributor body with fine iron wire (F1.5mm).

7. Rinse and blow off the distributor housing again.

8. Replace the copper washers and reassemble the distributor.

9. Inspect the newly assembled distributor with a manual pump; the starting pressure should not exceed 2.5 MPa. If the starting pressure is higher than 2.5 MPa, replace the distributor.
