SSPQ-LSeries Dual-line Distributors (20MPa)

I. Terms of Use

The SSPQ-L series bidirectional oil distributors feature oil supply ports on both the front and bottom. The distributor's piston action, both forward and reverse, discharges grease through the front and bottom supply ports. Compared to the SDPQ type distributors, the number of oil supply ports is doubled. A plug pre-fitted under the right front supply port merges two ports into one, making it easy to switch to odd-numbered oil discharge. The system piping is simple to use. The SSPQ-L2, 3, and 4 series distributors have the same installation dimensions for their appearance and number of oil supply ports, facilitating model changes and replacements.

This series of distributors allows for direct observation of the distributor's operation from the movement of the indicator rod, and the oil flow amount at each oil outlet can be conveniently adjusted within the specified range by turning the adjusting screw.

The SSPQ-L series distributors utilize medium with a penetration of 265 (25°C, 150g) 1/10mm grease (NLGI 0#～1#) or lubricating oil with a viscosity grade greater than N68.

Operating temperature range: -10℃ to 80℃; usable at 10MPa pressure when the medium is lubricating oil.

SSPQ-L series bidirectional oil outlet dual-line distributors, featuring oil outlets on both the front and bottom. When the piston moves forward and backward, the front and bottom outlets alternately supply lubricant. The specifications for its shape and dimensions are as shown in the figures and tables.

The dual-line distributor features two oil inlet ports, which are connected to the 5a and 5b supply pipes. When one line is supplied by the lubrication pump, the other line opens to the oil storage tank.

As shown in the image above, the lubricant, pumped by the pump, is conveyed through oil supply line 5a to the distributor 4. It enters the upper part of the pilot piston 4a, where it is pressurized, pushing the pilot piston 4a down. At this moment, the lower part is connected to the oil supply line 5b for unloading. As the pilot piston 4a moves down, it connects the upper chamber of the main piston 4b with the upper chamber of the pilot piston, and the lower chamber of the main piston with the outlet. The supplied lubricant enters the upper chamber of the main piston, pushing it downward. This moves the lubricant in the lower chamber through feed line 6 to the lubrication point, completing the oil supply action for the next cycle.

Switch to oil line 5b to start the oil supply action for the second cycle. The distributor piston reverses the aforementioned action in the same sequence.

The oil port of the distributor is determined by the diameter and stroke of the main piston 4b. By adjusting the adjusting screw 7, the stroke of the main piston 4b can be changed to achieve oil quantity regulation within the specified range.

5. Instructions for Use

1. Must use the specified medium in the designated environment.

2. The two inlet oil ports of the distributor are connected to two fuel supply lines respectively, and both sides are through. If one side's inlet port is not in use, it should be sealed with a plug. The unused fuel outlet should also be sealed with a plug (SDPQ series).

3. For use in dusty, humid, and harsh environments, a protective cover should be used.

4. Adjusting the oil quantity, rotate the limiter (10) and turn the adjustment screw (11) to adjust the oil supply within the maximum and minimum range according to the actual need at the lubrication point. Adjustments should be made with the indicator rod (12) retracted, and the locking screw should be tightened after adjustment.

5. If the number of oil ports is odd, unscrew the plug (8) and place it over the oil feed port (3). This connects the oil feed ports (3) and (4), allowing the piston to draw oil from port (4) for both forward and reverse movements.

6. The dual-line distributor is preferably installed in parallel within the system, with the oil supply pipe connecting to either the left or right side of the distributor. Alternatively, a series installation method is used, with a maximum of three in series not to exceed. In certain situations, a combination of parallel and series installations may also be employed.

7. The surface in contact with the distributor should be smooth and flat; the installation bolts should not be tightened too much to avoid deformation that may affect normal operation.

8. The caps at both ends of the distributor piston must not be removed without cause; if there is a leak, tighten or replace with a new sealing washer.

6. Common Malfunctions and Troubleshooting Methods

1. The distributor is not functioning.

Check if the fuel line is delivering pressure oil, if the lubrication points are clogged, and if the fuel lines are flattened; if there are impurities entering the distributor causing scuffing in the piston holes, etc. Identify the issues and resolve them accordingly.

2. Oil leakage at the limiting switch body indicator rod.

Remove the limiter and replace the new oil seal, which may be due to the oil seal being in stock too long, aging, or exceeding the specified environmental temperature for use. Investigate and replace accordingly.
