The cutter suction dredger is a combination of mechanical and hydraulic dredging vessels. To ensure the quality of underwater excavation depth (i.e., the flatness of the underwater seabed after excavation and the depth of the dredged material), it is necessary to use steel piles installed on the hull and their lifting mechanisms, or a three-cable positioning device for positioning, and to move the vessel forward and backward. The side-to-side swinging of the hull is achieved by the left and right lateral movement anchors connected to the bridge of the dredging cutter.
