I. Basic Introduction
The Light Gas Gun can be powered by gunpowder, also known as a rail gun, gunpowder-driven cannon, or experimental cannon. It is typically a fixed installation, non-standard ammunition, and smoothbore.
II. Composition and Structure
Composed of two main parts: the barrel and the carriage. The barrel includes the barrel tube, breech, and breechblock, with the barrel tube providing the initial velocity and flight direction to the projectile; the breech for loading the shell; and the breechblock for closing the chamber and firing the shell. The carriage is made up of a recoil mechanism and the frame, with the recoil mechanism ensuring the gun returns to its original position after firing a shell, and the frame supporting the gun during shooting.
III. Performance Parameters
Bore sizes range from 7.6 to 155, with non-standard structures.
