Overview


The JEF102 Smart Pressure Switch is an intelligent digital pressure measurement and control product that integrates pressure measurement, display, output, and control. This product features a full electronic structure, with a front-end pressure sensor using an oil-filled resistive pressure sensor with an isolation film. The output signal is amplified and processed by a high-precision, low-drift amplifier and then sent to a high-precision A/D converter, where it is converted into a digital signal that can be processed by the microprocessor. The signal, after processing, controls two switches to measure and control the pressure in the control system. This intelligent digital pressure switch is versatile, easy to operate, simple to debug, and safe and reliable. It is widely used in industries such as hydropower, water supply, oil, chemicals, machinery, and hydraulics to measure, display, and control the pressure of fluid media.

4.1 Mechanical Connections:



The JEF102 can be directly mounted on the hydraulic pipeline through a pressure pipe connector (DIN3582 external thread G1/4) (other size connectors can be specified upon order). In critical applications (such as severe vibration or impact), the pressure pipe connector can be mechanically decoupled using a micro-hose.


4.2 Electrical Connections:

To prevent the effects of electromagnetic interference, the following precautions should be taken:

● Shielded Wire


Avoid direct proximity to user equipment or wiring of electrical and electronic devices that may cause interference.

MUST be individually grounded

Switched Quantitative Output


The JEF102's switch quantity output is primarily controlled by two basic parameters, ALxH and ALxF. ALxH sets the latching point, while ALxF sets the release point. Additionally, there are corresponding output function options and delay values to collectively control the switch output.

Delay Function


The hysteresis value can be set via the menu, and its output can be used to control the pump's intake and discharge, requiring only one output point. As shown in the right figure, taking the normally open (N.O.) type as an example, the gray band represents the hysteresis value (ALxH-ALxF); when the pressure increases, the switch point will close only when the pressure value exceeds ALxH; and when the pressure value decreases, the switch point will open only when the pressure value is less than ALxF.


Window Function


This feature can be used to monitor specific ranges, and its output can be utilized for control and alarm functions, requiring only one output point. As shown in the right figure, taking the normally open (N.O.) type as an example, the gray band represents the window value (ALxF - ALxH); the switch point closes only when the pressure value is within this window; when the pressure value exceeds this range, the switch point opens.


Note:


ALxH and ALxL, where "x" represents switch point "1" or "2."

Confirm key, when in display menu state, press this key to show menu data. In data display...


Press this key to confirm the modified parameters and return to the menu state.

Add key: Press briefly to increment the parameter value by one, press and hold to add 1 to the parameter value quickly.

Decrease key: Press briefly to decrease the parameter to the single value, press and hold to rapidly decrease the parameter by 1.


If no key is pressed within 30 seconds, the modified data will not be saved and the device will automatically exit the setup state.


● Pressing both “▲” and “▼” for 5 seconds simultaneously performs zero-point calibration; pressure values within the +/-10% range of the scale will be set as the new zero point. Pressing both keys for another 5 seconds will revert the pressure value back to the one before the zero-point calibration.


6.5 Error Code


Er01---Switch 1 output short-circuit, error output is closed and will not control again. Solution: After eliminating the short-circuit, power on again.


Er02---Switch 2 output short-circuit, error output is closed and will not control again. Measures to exclude: After excluding the short-circuit, power on again.


Er12---Both switch 1/2 outputs short-circuited simultaneously, resulting in error output shutdown and no further control. Solution: After eliminating the short circuit, power on again.


ErEP—EEPROM data verification error, possible cause:


Severe electromagnetic interference or a component failure. Remedies: Reboot after power off, or enter the advanced user menu to restore factory settings.


ErAd — Internal module conversion error in the instrument, possibly due to strong electromagnetic interference or a device failure. Remedial measures: Eliminate the source of electromagnetic interference, and ensure proper grounding of the instrument housing.
