I. Process Workflow
The spray water and wind combine in a complex form, dividing into two streams: one cold stream enters vertically from above, while the other enters horizontally from the side. They exchange heat through cross-interaction with the falling spray water and the packing, thereby reducing the temperature of the spray water. Water droplets carried by the wind are deflected back by side collectors and fall into the lower water trough for recycling and reuse. Due to the thorough mixing of spray water and cold air, cooling and temperature reduction occur, leading to a significant drop in temperature and closer approach to the wet bulb temperature.
