I. Process Workflow
The spray water and wind combine into a complex form, with the wind divided into two streams: one cold wind enters vertically from the top, and the other horizontally from the side. They exchange heat through cross-interaction with the falling spray water and the packing material, thus reducing the temperature of the spray water. The water droplets carried away by the wind are deflected back by the side collectors, falling into the lower water trough for recycling and reuse. Due to the full mixing of the spray water and the cold wind, the cooling and temperature reduction are sufficient, making the temperature approach the wet bulb temperature more closely.
