Section 1: Workflow
The spray water and wind form a composite pattern, dividing into two streams: one cold wind enters vertically from above, and the other horizontally from the side. They exchange heat with the falling spray water through the packing, thereby reducing the temperature of the spray water. Water droplets carried away by the wind are deflected back by the side collector, falling into the lower water trough for recycling and reuse. Due to the thorough mixing of the spray water with the cold wind, it effectively cools and reduces the temperature, making it much closer to the wet bulb temperature.
