I. Process Workflow
The spray water combines with wind in a complex manner, dividing into two streams: one cold stream enters vertically from above, and the other enters horizontally from the side. They exchange heat through the packing with the descending spray water, reducing the temperature of the spray water. The water droplets carried away by the wind are deflected back by the side collector and fall into the lower water trough for recycling and reuse. Due to the thorough mixing of spray water and cold air, the cooling effect is enhanced, resulting in a significant temperature drop that approaches the wet bulb temperature more closely.
