When water droplets come into contact with the air, cooling occurs due to both direct heat transfer between the air and water and the pressure difference between the water vapor surface and the air, which results in evaporation. This evaporation, through heat transfer with unsaturated dry air, carries away the sensible heat of the water, and some of the water evaporating takes away the latent heat, thereby achieving the purpose of cooling the water.
