Moist (high enthalpy) water is sprayed into the tower through the sprinkling system. When water droplets come into contact with the air, cooling occurs due to both direct heat transfer between the air and water and the pressure difference between the water vapor surface and the air. Under the pressure, evaporation occurs, which means the water's sensible heat is carried away through heat transfer with unsaturated dry air, and part of the water evaporates to remove the latent heat from the water, thereby achieving the purpose of cooling the water.
