HDPE Pipe Inspection Ports (Vertical Inspection Ports), Jiangsu PE Expansion Joint Manufacturer, HDPE Pipe Inspection Ports for Surface Water Accumulation
Inspection ports are typically installed on vertical pipes for clearing obstructions at the connection between the vertical and horizontal branches. The spacing of inspection ports on cast iron drainage vertical pipes should not exceed 10 meters, and plastic drainage vertical pipes should have one inspection port every two floors. However, inspection ports must be installed on the lowest floor and the top floor of buildings with two or more floors containing sanitary fixtures. Flat-roof buildings can use ventilation ports instead of inspection ports. Additionally, if the vertical pipe is equipped with a "Z" pipe, an inspection port should be set above the "Z" pipe. An inspection port should also be installed when the drainage horizontal branch pipe section exceeds the specified length. [1] On drainage horizontal pipes where the water deflection angle is greater than 45°, an inspection port or a cleaning port should be provided. The inspection port on the vertical pipe should be set above the ground (floor) level at 1.0 meter and should be higher than the upper edge of the sanitary fixture by 0.15 meters.
