Rainwater heads are categorized into87, 79, and 65 models, three types of siphon rain gutters, weir-type rain gutters. Generally, the 87 model (79, 65 model upgrade) and siphon rain gutters are used. The 87 model rain gutter is essentially a flat rain gutter, sometimes referred to as a flat siphon rain gutter, but it is not a true siphon rain gutter; it is only "semi-siphon." It only activates the siphon function when the rain in the channel completely covers the top of the gutter's deflector. Therefore, the 87 model rain gutter is primarily used in gravity drainage systems. Nowadays, many siphon rainwater drainage systems also use the 87 model as a siphon rain gutter, but compared to systems using a true siphon rain gutter (submerged collecting bowl type), its siphon drainage capacity is significantly reduced, especially during rare heavy rainstorms that occur once every few decades or even a century, making it difficult to timely drain the roof rainwater.
