Product Features: Press-nut studs, also known as press-nut bolts or studs, are fasteners used for sheet metal, thin plates, enclosures, and cabinets. These studs have a hexagonal shape at one end and a cylindrical hexagonal edge with a chamfer between the hexagonal and cylindrical parts. Internally, they feature a female thread. They are pressed into pre-drilled holes in thin plates (the hole diameter is generally slightly smaller than the cylindrical outer diameter of the press-nut stud) using a press, causing plastic deformation around the hole. The deformed section is forced into the chamfer of the press-nut stud, securing it to the thin plate, thereby forming an effective fixed internal thread on the plate.
Product Advantages:
Insert into the round hole, pressure riveted for a secure and stable attachment to thin plates.
2. Threaded with both through and blind holes, suitable for spaced or stacked enclosures, circuit boards, or components.
3. Easy to install without deformation, the back can be tightly flush with the workpiece plate surface. Suitable for sheet materials 0.5mm and above
4. The advantages of stainless steel material in rust and corrosion resistance
