Product Name: Pressed Rivet Bolt
Standard: Industry Standard
Material: Carbon Steel/ Stainless Steel
Surface Treatment: Zinc Coating/Cleaning
Customizable: Yes
Product Features: Press-fitted nuts, also known as press-fitted bolts or stud nuts, are fasteners used in sheet metal, thin plates, enclosures, and cabinets. They have a hexagonal shape at one end and a cylindrical hexagonal end with a cutting groove between them. The inside features an internal thread. By using a press, the hexagonal head is pressed into the pre-drilled hole in the thin plate (the hole diameter is generally slightly smaller than the cylindrical outer diameter of the press-fitted bolt), causing plastic deformation around the hole. The deformed section is forced into the cutting groove of the press-fitted nut, securing it to the thin plate, thereby forming an effective fixed internal thread on the plate.
Product Advantages:
Insert into the circular hole and secured with pressure riveting, which allows for a stable riveting onto thin plates.
2. Threaded with through and blind holes, suitable for spacing or stacked enclosures, circuit boards, or components
3. Easy to install without deformation; the back can be tightly flush with the workpiece surface. Suitable for sheet materials over 0.5 mm thick.
4. The advantages of rust and corrosion resistance of stainless steel material
