Cam Splitter Positioning CamThe indexing cam is mounted on the input shaft, primarily used to cut into the surface of the concave solid bodies during operation, performing the action of sectioning. The dimension support ribs, the parts on the circumference of the dimension support ribs are called form ribs, and they make linear circumferential contact with the cam rollers between the cam grooves during operation. The cam rollers, referred to as such, are the sectioning medium of the indexing cam, which are precision roller bearings fixed on the output turret, capable of withstanding heavy loads and high-speed rotation. The cam rollers and indexing cam complete the direct sectioning action. The output turret, an attachment on the output shaft, transmits motion by driving the cam rollers radially embedded in it through the indexing cam. The accuracy of the output turret is a critical factor in maintaining the precision of the cam sectioning mechanism.
