Introduction to Washed Stone
Water-washed stone is a decorative technique that involves blending natural river or sea pebbles or gravels with cement in a specific ratio, applying the mixture to the base, flattening it with a load-bearing tool, and cleaning the surface adhesive to reveal the original appearance of the stones.
2. Process of Water-washed Stone Installation
1. Clean the road base thoroughly; mix the stones and cement in the proper proportions until well blended.
2. Pour in the washed stone mixed with the adhesive.
3. Spread the materials evenly.
4. Evenly smooth the surface with a wooden ruler.
5. Wipe away the cement surface with a sponge to reveal the exposed aggregates.
