Chemical nickel plating is an environmentally friendly new technology that deposits a Ni-P alloy coating through an autocatalytic chemical reaction. The bath has good deep-dipping and even-coating capabilities; the coating is amorphous, with uniform thickness, high hardness, good wear and corrosion resistance, and good welding properties, which can partially replace the heavily polluting electroplating coatings of chrome, nickel, silver, tin, and others.
