Curing agent addition ratio and reaction:

1. Add 2-3% curing agent, with 30-40 minutes of operation time (at room temperature), and the mold can be completely cured in 4-5 hours.

2. The mixing ratio of silicone and curing agent is 100:2-3. For example, adding 2-3 grams of curing agent to 100 grams of silicone. The curing agent is provided free of charge at a ratio of 5%. If users need shorter or longer operation time, they should not adopt the method of adding less or more curing agents in principle. They should contact our company to provide newly formulated curing agents.

User needs to know:

RTV-2 mold silicone, also known as two-component room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber; It has good flowability and operability. Adding 2% -3% curing agent, the silicone gel can still flow within 30 minutes, and it takes 4-5 hours for the mold to fully cure. Generally, the mold is left for 24 hours before use, and at this time, the performance of the mold in all aspects is relatively stable, and the use effect will be better. Well made molds have properties such as acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, low deformation and shrinkage resistance, high temperature resistance, and good resistance to tearing. They are widely used in the replication of exquisite molds, as well as in the production of molds made of resin, polystyrene, gypsum, handmade soap, and other materials.

This product is a white flowing liquid with a fully cured hardness of 25 degrees. If the customer is making large products, higher hardness silicone gel is more suitable for your product. On the contrary, if the product has fine patterns, softer silicone gel is needed. The amount of curing agent added is determined according to the customer's requirements, and the curing time is affected by the amount of curing agent added. The more curing agent added, the faster the curing agent will be; On the contrary, the less, the slower.

Technical Guide:

1. Shake the curing agent (component B) well before use.

2. Component A: Component B=100:2-100:3, this ratio is calculated based on the weight of components A and B. The weight is based on the electronic weighing result.

After pouring components A and B into the container, stir evenly with a stirring rod. When the color is relatively uniform, it indicates that it has been stirred evenly. The bottom and walls of the container must be scraped well to ensure that the silicone in this area can be fully mixed with the curing agent. If the mixing is not uniform, the silicone mold will have uneven solidification, which will affect the service life and flipping frequency of the silicone mold, causing mold scrap in Shenzhen.

4. After mixing the silicone and curing agent evenly, perform the vacuum and exhaust bubble process. The vacuum time should not be too long, and under normal circumstances, it should not exceed five minutes. When vacuuming, the container should not be too full, otherwise the silicone can easily overflow from the container during the vacuuming process.

5. The silicone gel that has been vacuum treated should be slowly poured from one corner of the mold frame to ensure even material flow, which helps gas flow out and the cured mold will not have bubbles.

6. The mold can be completely cured after 4-5 hours at room temperature. Do not heat it to cure. Even if heating is needed to accelerate its curing time, it is not recommended to exceed 60 degrees Celsius.
